Friendly staff, but room had maintenance issues.

missingWrote a review on 14 Febspacious roomfirst-floor accesspoor cleanliness
The room felt spacious with two queen beds making it nice for families. The access to a first-floor room made loading and unloading without hassle.
The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. curtains drooped due to a lack of hooks, and the heater vent was filthy. Bathroom issues included a peeling ceiling, no tub plug, and dirt streaks on the inside of the door. Maintenance problems were also present, such as the front and bathroom doors not closing properly, with one incident resulting in a painful head injury. A noisy environment, combined with a dirty parking area and low-income rentals nearby, made the overall atmosphere feel unsafe.

Visiting family in the area was made easier thanks to the convenient location. The hotel was just a short walk from Seaway Mall, which was a plus. I was pleased to find the bed in my room really comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep after long days. However, I did notice the bathroom light fixture needed some cleaning, and the heater vent was pretty dusty. Overall, I'd say it served its purpose well enough and I'd consider staying again if I revisit the area.

Oh my gosh, staying here was like, seriously awesome! The staff were super chill and made us feel totally at home. Plus, the beds? So comfy! I loved that our room had a patio door for easy loading, and breakfast was decent. Great value for, like, everything you get!

The breakfast selection was quite good during my stay.
I was frustrated with the doors not closing properly, especially the bathroom door that I got stuck in for a while. The lack of electrical outlets by the bed was another inconvenience, as I had to hunt around the room just to charge my devices. Overall, the room could have been much better maintained and this impacted my experience significantly.

The shower was awesome, but I got stuck in a jammed bathroom door.

The Queen Room was decent, but has some quirks. It had a solid bed, which was a plus. But, the door was really tough to open and close, could be a hassle for someone with less strength. The electrical issues were concerning too. the lights kept flickering. Breakfast was just okay, with loose bagels that didn’t feel very hygienic. Not a bad stay for the price, but definitely some improvements needed.

Just a prime choice for a two-day stay in Welland with best value for money ratio. The coffee maker in the room was a nice touch as it helped kickstart my mornings. Bring some snacks since breakfast options can be limited.

clean and comfy but breakfast needs improvement
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The fridge and microwave in the room were very convenient for our needs. The breakfast had a nice selection, which we managed to enjoy, although it wasn’t the best.
The breakfast could use more variety and quality to match the rest of the stay.
